
HiT Entertainment was a company that was founded in 1982 as Henson International Television. It changed to HiT Communications PLC in 1989, and in 1994, it was rebranded to HiT Entertainment. It's famous for post-2001 Barney & Friends, all-time Bob the Builder, all-time Amazing Animals, all-time Angelina Ballerina and post-2003 Thomas & Friends and. In 2002, they worked with Connecticut Public Television, but starting in 2008, WNET worked with HiT Entertainment until 2018.
