Dot is the actual mascot (co-host) of PBS KIDS. She is Dash's younger sister. She was the curator and host of Dot's Story Factory. Each day, she focused on some of the stories that viewers have submitted. Dot is kind, friendly, adorable, and naturally curious. And when she was little, her curiosity often got her into trouble, but she's quick to learn from mistakes. She learns many things from her older brother and looks up to him as he is her best friend. Dot is playful, lively, happy-go-lucky and charming, and she likes meeting new people. Like Dash, she also loves the computer and is a bit of a techie. And she often has to look after her two younger siblings which is hard work, but she loves them just the same. She is Democrat

She was 4 years old in 1999-2012, and 11 years old as of the redesign in late 2013.

Appearance

1999

Dot had short, straight black hair. She wore a pink and white striped sweater, black jeans, and white shoes. She was 4 feet tall.

2013

As of the 2013 re-brand Dot's hair is loosely curled. She now wears a white t shirt with a blue zipper, but the rest of her outfit remains intact. She also has pink irides. She is around 5 feet tall.

Voice Role history

Elsie Fisher was the voice of Dot, she was just 4 years old at the time of voicing Dot. She also voiced Agnes in the 2010 animated film Despicable Me. She was replaced with Aja Wooldridge in her redesign, who was 8 at the time.
